Who is behind Northfleet?

The business was initially set up by David McMeeking BSc (Hons) MA MRICS and Ian Flanagan FRICS OBE, as Northfleet Partnership which then developed into Northfleet Developments Limited.

David is now the Managing Director of Northfleet Developments following Ian’s sad death in 2018.

David has an Honours degree in Urban Estate Surveying from Nottingham Trent University and a Masters in International Relations from Sussex University.

David trained with central west-end London firms Lane Fox, Gerald Eve and Healey Baker (now Cushman & Wakefield).

David also runs McMeeking Chartered Surveyors

Background

Northfleet specialises in secondary industrial estates and office buildings including vacant buildings, investments and voids/short leases which require asset management or new build.

Northfleet is professionally run by a knowledgeable Chartered Surveyor who has a proven track record with funders, vendors, occupiers and advisors.

Northfleet was established in 1998 taking its name taking its name ‘Northfleet Partnership’ from the Northfleet area of North Kent where the first deal was completed. After the first couple of deals, it was decided to incorporate the business and in 2004 Northfleet Developments Limited was established.

SUSTAINABILITY - An ongoing upgrade program driven by a sustainability agenda to improve energy efficiency from LED lighting throughout to electric car charging points.
